To mark the Sikh and Hindu festival of Diwali, our wonderful Year 3 pupils put on a special performance for their parents and carers. This performance included a retelling of the Hindu story of Rama and Sita. During this story, Rama defeated the evil demon, called Ravana, and his army to rescue Sita. Everybody was very impressed with this performance.

Thank you to all of our Year 3 children, and their teachers and teaching assistants for all their hard work with putting together this wonderful performance.

As a school, we celebrated this festival by coming into school in bright clothes and by spending some lesson time exploring this festival further.

We hope that all of our families who celebrated the festival of Diwali had a wonderful time with their loved ones.
