Our Year 3 and Year 5 pupils today took part in Mini First Aid workshops, where they learnt practical skills and knowledge that could one day help them save somebody’s life. This is an activity that we have ran for several years at our school and every child from Years 3-6 has now had at least one first session, if they were with us in these year groups. The children thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on sessions, learning what to do in an emergency and developing confidence in responding to a range of situations. These valuable workshops are an important part of our Colmers Farm Primary Guarantee, ensuring that our children leave us with not only a strong academic foundation, but also the knowledge, skills and confidence to make a positive difference in the world around them.
