Year 2 visit to St Stephen's Church
2 Jun
Year 2 had a wonderful visit to St Stephen’s Church as part of their learning about Christianity. During the trip, the children explored the church and searched for different holy symbols that are important to Christians. They also asked lots of respectful questions about the history of the church, showing great curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. The children enjoyed learning about the role of a reverend and had the exciting opportunity to try on some of the special clothes worn at different times of the church year. Throughout the visit, the children were enthusiastic, respectful, and fully engaged in all the activities. They represented the school exceptionally well, and we were very proud of their excellent behaviour and positive attitudes.
