On Wednesday, we took children from Years 5 and 6 to the Women's T20 World Cup group game at Edgbaston Cricket Ground - Pakistan vs South Africa. They had a great time soaking in the atmosphere, engaging in game play and discussing tactics they were noticing. They learnt more about the game and even talked about run rate and how to know who was winning with Miss Jennings. They also made friends with a South African fan in the row in front, from Selly Park Girls, who helped them understand bits of the game further. They loved the atmosphere and were even happier when the team they chose to support won! Thank you to Miss Evans, Miss Jennings and Miss McCarron for giving up their time to take our children to this great event.
