Key Worker/Vulnerable Provision

School is open to key workers and vulnerable children from 8:35 - 3:15 each week day. Places must be booked. To book a space at this, please contact the school office on the Wednesday of the week before you'd like your child to start.

Children should be dropped in school between 8:35 and 8:45 at the hall entrance. PLEASE WEAR A FASK MASK IF YOU ARE ABLE WHEN DROPPING OFF AND COLLECTING CHILDREN (unless you have a medical condition which exempts you from this). Children should be wearing their school uniforms in this provision.

Means tested free school meal children will be provided with a free hot lunch. This lunch is also available to other children if it is paid for.

If your child is bringing a packed lunch into school, please ensure that it is nut free as we do have a few children who may have an allergic reaction if exposed to nuts.

Home learning

Home learning is provided online at Colmers Farm Primary via Tapestry (in Reception) and via Google Classroom (for Years 1-6). Years 1-6 will experience 'live lessons' with their teachers via Google Classrooms. Please see the link below for the timings of these and for more information about home learning.

Please remember that we also use Mathletics (Years 2-6), Accelerated Reader (Years 3-6) and Spelling Shed (Years 1-6) for online home learning.

If your child has misplaced their passwords for any of these. Please contact the school office.

If your child does not have internet access, please contact the school office to arrange collection of their paper learning for this week. This will be available from the school office each Monday (after 8:45).

Phone Calls Home

All children will receive a weekly phone call from their teacher to discuss how they are progressing with their learning and to discuss with parents any issues that they may be having. In addition to this Mrs Evans and Mrs Taylor will also be contacting selected pupils.

Free School Meals

Weekly free school meal packs will be available for collection each Monday from the school office. These will only be available for children who are eligible for means tested free school meals.
