​Years 3 and 5 were visited by 'Mini First Aid' and had the exciting opportunity to learn a range of basic first aid skills. The children learnt how to give CPR using chest compressions, how to help if somebody is choking, what to do if somebody receives a burn, how to treat a head bump, and how to initially treat a broken bone. All children received a certificate for their participation, as well as an activity booklet where they can show off their newfound knowledge. It was a really interesting morning, and the children learnt so much. 

This annual training forms part of our Colmers Farm Primary Guarantee. We are very proud of the fact that all of our pupils in KS2 have received first aid training at least once.
