Year 4's RNLI Visitor

7 May

On Wednesday, Year 4 had a visitor from the RNLI, their chosen charity for the year.  Colin, represented the RNLI and taught the children in Year 4 about water safety.  Each class was presented with a certificate of completion, having successfully learnt the RNLI's four key water safety messages.  The focus was on the seaside, rivers, lakes and canals, and talked about the dangers of frozen bodies of water too.  Children had the opportunity to ask questions, try on life jackets and look at flags and lifeguard uniforms.
