EYFS Visit to Atwell Farm
24 Mar
Our two Reception classes enjoyed a wonderful day out at Attwell Farm, where they had the opportunity to explore the outdoors, meet a range of animals, and deepen their understanding of the world around them. The children were excited from the moment we arrived and threw themselves enthusiastically into every activity.
During the visit, the children met many farm animals, including goats, pigs, sheep, rabbits, and chickens. They learned about how the animals are cared for and even had the chance to feed some of them, which was a highlight for many! The friendly staff at Attwell Farm guided the children through each area, sharing interesting facts and answering lots of curious questions.
This visit provided a valuable hands-on learning experience that linked beautifully with our class topics and supported the children’s understanding of life on a farm. Most importantly, it was a day filled with excitement, learning, and memorable moments.
We are very proud of how well the children represented our school and would like to thank the staff at Attwell Farm for being such wonderful hosts.
